Well I got the first car accident out of the way
Hugs that last over twenty seconds, release a chemical in your body called “Oxytocin”, which makes you trust the person you’re hugging more.
“We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth” - Virginia Satir, family therapist
Hugging someone is a way of showing that we care, and for both the hugged and hugger, it feels good. When growing up, we are very sensitive to touch. We recognize our parents initially through sense of touch.
Oxytocin is a neurotransmitter that acts like a hormone and helps promote trust. It’s released in the body when we feel safe. This could be through breast-feeding (when we’re little), holding hands, snuggling, dancing with someone, during a massage or body work out or things that generally make us feel at ease. Hugging is definitely one of the things that make us release oxytocin.
Reasons why this post makes no sense:
- Ed Sheeran’s music videos are artistically beautiful.
- Ed Sheeran doesn’t appear that much in his videos because he likes to put the emphasis on characters, rather than himself, so people can focus on the message of his beautiful songs.
- Ed Sheeran doesn’t need to dance. He makes girls’ ovaries explode with a single note. Why is this, you ask? Oh, right…because he has talent.
- Last time I checked, the number of hits you get on YouTube doesn’t mean you’re talented. Look at Rebecca Black…
- If you don’t think Ed Sheeran is hot, I question your sanity.
The whole fandom:
The best fandom cross-over in the history of ever.
”You think we can catch him?”
”Dean, we’ll DIE.”
”He’s gotta be like 130 pounds at most, man, come on. Don’t be girl.”
”He’s falling from like a billion stories up!”
”Cas fell down from that high one time, remember? He was fine.”
”HE CAVED IN THE ROOF OF A CAR DEAN.”
”Do you think they’ll try to catch you?”
Re-blogging cause this is the best.
Im only part of the sherlock fandom but this is wonderful
for the love of god please catch him
"And so the little lamb and his mama live happily ever after," the girl finished reading her story aloud to the creature beside her. Hopeful orbs of blue glistened as she cocked her head up at him. "Didya like that, Mister Boogey?"
No response from underneath the black coat. She frowned, teetering off her seat ever so slowly before her tiny feet reached the ground.
"Mister Boogey?" she asked again, gripping the corners of the dark trench coat. When nothing responded, she slowly peeled it open, revealing the coat rack on which he had been perched. Where had he gone?
The little girl shrunk back, upset that her friend had left without a word. She curled up in her chair, clutching the book tightly in case he came back to hear the rest of the tale. Suddenly, a soft wind blew through the empty room, but before she could turn to see what had caused it, she was swept up in darkness.
"Gotcha," the creature chuckled, cradling her close to him.
The child squeal with laughter most contagious, pleased of his return.
"I thought you left!" She gave a pout, looking up at his shadowy face.
"Why, my dear, I’d never leave you. I am your guardian after all, am I not?" The monster gave her a toothy smile. “And I will always be your Boogeyman.”
